Default Earth Prayers

Recently finished Nightfall on my Derv and got Primeval armor.
Every time I get new armor I try to find a new playstyle or method of use for the profession, and almost from day 1 I've only used Mysticism and Scythe Mastery skills.

So I've decided to explore Earth Prayers, since they seem to be much more aggressive and AoE-ish overall than Wind Prayers.
I've already looked at PvXwiki, because I'm self-aware enough to know I suck at coming up with original builds, but there isn't much there aside from farming.

Here's my current build, with Mysticism at 16 and Scythe Mastery at 13.

What are some Earth Prayers skills which have good synergy?

Earth Mastery is the Tank of the dervish line.
Mirage and Veil of Thorns can make you pretty tanky

If you wanna start doing more damage, you need some Aura Slicer from Mysticism.

Beyond that, you need to start looking at your heroes to boost your damage through skills like Splinter Weapon and Strength of Honor.

Tbh the pve only derv skills kinda are lacking...Eternal Aura~weak imo, you could do much better....Aura of Holy Might is really only usefull if your using a teardown enchantment heavy build...beyond that you can do better

Did you miss this somehow?

Pious Renewal's advantage is bar compression for teardown heavy builds. Once you start adding other teardown enchants it starts to lose its point. Whirling charge is the only skill I'd sneak onto such a bar, because 7H kill things too fast to stand around looking useless. Do feel free to try elites that aren't pious though, your bars and playstyle will start looking very different.

Eh... that bar beats anything Earth Prayers can cough up outside of Vow of Strength.
But whatever...
Dust Cloak, Aura of Thorns, Staggering Force, some adrenal teardown, Wounding Strike, Heart of Fury, Any two of Asuran Scan, Save Yourselves, Zealous Renewal, Dodge This, I Am Unstoppable.
Could also take Pious Fury over Heart of Fury and replace skill 4 with Radiant Scythe or something.

Main skill I use from Earth Prayers while using a PR build would be Shield of Force. Provides knock downs and weakness, but it requires timing with PR and when you'll be hit.

The dervish guide thread has a couple Earth Prayer builds I believe.
